Under the Soviet Star (February–June 2022) is a poetic essay and a visual diary that attempts to reflect on the current geopolitical events, the authors’ backgrounds, and the problematic dichotomy of civilization and barbarism.
This work explores positionality of the authors within a broader social and historic context.
The text calls for exposition, vulnerability and nuance. The question at the core of the essay is – Who am I?
