Confessions of an Ex-Zine Editor is six-part serialised story about zines, drugs, and quitting rock 'n' roll. It tells the story of what happened after the author published the 38th and final issue of her noughties glam zine, Bubblegum Slut.
This is the spooky penultimate issue. It’s sort-of a prequel/sequel, which dives into diaries from 2008 and 2013. Features cursed zines, Marc Eden, the Book of Metal Band Baby Names, Sophie Banyard, ghostwriters and demon dentists. It also includes three 'venue ghost stories' and two Guest Ex-Editors (Sid Stovold, formerly of PopArt zine and Dominique Marshall, formerly of Rebelicious zines).
